There’s no shortage of flatbeds on the market.
But most of them are built the same way — rushed production, thin materials, generic designs, and little attention to how the truck actually looks when it leaves the shop.
That’s exactly why Gun Metal Fab was started.
We didn’t want to build “just another work bed.” We wanted to build flatbeds and bumpers that turned heads at a truck show while still being able to hook onto a trailer Monday morning and go to work.

Our Four-Stage Coating Process
One thing we refuse to cut corners on is protection.
Every Gun Metal flatbed comes standard with our four-stage coating process:
- Sandblasting
- Phosphate wash
- Gloss black powder coat
- Mil-Spec spray-on bed liner
The result is a finish designed to hold up against weather, salt, gravel, and real-world abuse while still looking clean years down the road.
